ABSTRACT

Objective@#To explore the diagnostic values of FibroTouch and FibroScan for liver fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB).@*Methods@#This study enrolled patients with CHB who was accepted liver biopsy at Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University between March 2014 to December 2017. FibroTouch and FibroScan were performed among these patients at same time. Liver stiffness measurement(LSM), optimal cut-off value, receiver operating characteristic(ROC) were compared.@*Results@#In our 103 patients, there were no significantly different between FibroTouch and FibroScan in LSM. The threshold of the optimal cut-off value for FibroTouch and FibroScan were 5.45 versus 5.55 kPa (≥S1), 7.10 versus 6.65 kPa (≥S2), 11.05 versus 9.20 kPa (≥S3), 15.50 versus 15.45 kPa (S4), respectively. The area under the ROC curve for the prediction of the stage1, stage2, stage2, stage 4 of liver fibrosis in these patients were 0.858 versus 0.765 (P=0.54), 0.812 versus 0.801 (P=0.68), 0.863 versus 0.878 (P=0.45), and 1.0 versus 0.99 (P=0.38) respectively.@*Conclusions@#FibroTouch and FibmScan have a good consistency in the evaluation of the degree of liver fibrosis in patients with CHB.

ABSTRACT

Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a progressive, chronic hepatitis of unknown cause. It is characterized by interface hepatitis, hypergammaglobulinaemia, circulating autoantibodies, and a favorable response to immunosuppression. This article summarizes the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of AIH and reviews recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of AIH. Early diagnosis and proper treatment can improve the prognosis.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the correlation between the polymorphism of genotype of site-1296 in alpha2A-AR receptor gene and the susceptibility of vestibular function.@*METHOD@#Ninety-four blood samples were collected from pilot cadets, consisting of susceptible and tolerance groups to vestibular function. Genomic DNA was isolated, and the coding region of alpha2A-AR receptor gene was amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The PCR products were analyzed by gene sequencing. Gene frequency was calculated, and, the coincidence between the polymorphism of alpha2A-AR receptor gene in the groups and Hardy-Weinberg balance was evaluated. The allele frequency of the two groups was compared by Chi square test.@*RESULT@#G/C polymorphism was existed in Site-1296 of alpha2A-AR gene regulation zone, including GG, GC, CC. The express of GG Genotype in susceptible group exceeded that of the other group. There were significance differences in both genotype constituent ratio and alleles frequency of the two groups.@*CONCLUSION@#The polymorphism of genotype of site-1296 in alpha2A-AR receptor gene is possibly correlated with the susceptibility to vestibular function.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of intravenous dalteparin compared with unfractionated heparin in patients underwent coronary angiogram with or without percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 87 patients who underwent one-stage elective PCI were randomized to intravenously unfractionated heparin(UFH,10 000 IU) group or dalteparin group. The dalteparin group was further divided into low dose dalteparin(5 000 IU) group or high dose dalteparin(10 000 IU) group according to whether the patients underwent PCI procedure.Blood samples for anti-Xa levels and ACTs were assayed at baseline and at 10 min,20 min,1 hour,2 hours and 4 hours after all dalteparin or UFH doses were administered. Results Baseline characteristics were similar across the three groups. In all groups,ACTs reached the maximum at 10 min after the total doses given, with the highest value in the UFH group and lowest in the low dose dalteparin group(524.68 ?278.32 s vs 191.26?39.35 s vs 304.20?42.71 s,P0.05).Conclusion Both 5 000 IU and 10 000 IU dalteparin injected through sheath before PCI or coronary angiography could reach an anti-Xa levels similar to that achieved by 10 000 IU UFH.
